| Grand Falls Outfitter is proud to offer privelaged hunts for Moose and Black Bear on private tribal territories. The eastern Passamaquoddy tribe has opened its lands to non tribal sportsman on a very limited basis. This truly is a unique opportunity. The first hunt of the year is a spring bear hunt over bait. The season starts mid May and ends mid July. We use tree stands and ground blinds and are set up for bow or gun, and left and right handed shooters. This hunt includes everything but meals. You'll be set up in a modern cabin with all the amenities on or near the water with access to some great fishing as well. The second hunt of the year is a Fall rut Moose hunting adventure that begins in September with stick and string for bull or cow and goes through October with gun for bulls only. Native people here have been hunting for thousands of years and know them better than most. Tribal guides use many different methods (depending on terrain and time of year) to get within striking distance of these giant animals (some reaching 1500 lbs or more). Hunts can be done by pick-up ATV, boat or canoe depending on preference and condititions and all are very successful. Only 10 tags are sold each year and are highly sought after. These week long adventures are all inclusive. In case you were wondering what you might do if you shoot your Moose early, we also offer Bear hunting over bait and with hounds. You can choose to hunt Moose in the morning and Bear over bait in the afternoon or if you have taken a Moose you can hunt over bait or with the hounds.
